The Pertuso is located in one of the three villages of Positano, Montepertuso famous for its beautiful natural arch that opens into the rock of the Amalfi Coast, is an ideal place for those wishing to go trekking in Positano as it is connected to Lattari Mountains by Sentieri degli Dei.

To reach the Il Pertuso must take into account the precise location where you desidere leave. The Amalfi Coast is an efficient use of road infrastructure that connects it to the rest of Italy..

We must, therefore, know the various routes to access the coastal countries:

  • the north of Italy, take the motorway A1 Milano-Napoli to reach Caserta. La frazione di Montepertuso è situata nella parte alta di Positano, raggiungibile attraverso una strada carrabile che si inerpica su per la collina. La leggenda vuole che la zona fosse luogo di scontri tra il Bene ed il Male, tra la Vergine ed il Diavolo: nella roccia del monte Gambera (510m) è ancora ben visibile la sagoma del serpente nonché l'affascinante buco nella montagna (da qui, appunto, il nome di Montepertuso) impresso dal dito indice della Madonna, a testimonianza della sua presenza.
